Green Street - 1991

A view of Green Street facing East, gives you a glimpse of what the town used to be like. You can see the Wheaton & Hollis Hotel and Bodie Store in immediate left of the screen. And about two buildings down the street is the schoolhouse.

This shot is actually taken from about the midpoint of the main street in Bodie. If you turned left from here you would head toward the bank, the jail, one of the bigger hotels in Bodie and many shops. Turning to the right would take you to the Bodie Miner's Union Hall and the I.O.O.F. Building.
